Jason Azoulay Memorial Softball Tournament
August 2-4, 2019
In late 2015, we lost our friend, brother, family member and teammate, Jason Azoulay to cancer at just 34 years old.
We started this tournament in his honour in 2016. Last year’s tournament helped raise $37,644. We couldn’t have asked for a better turn out, the player support was amazing and this year we’re aiming to raise much more with the auction. The tournament is returning to Jason’s hometown at Edward Janiszewski Park with an objective of raising over $45,000 in association with the D.D.O. Executive Softball League and Défi Canderel which benefits the McGill Goodman Cancer Research Center and the Université de Montréal Cancer Institute of Montreal, a tax receipt will be provided for all donations.
In addition to the on-going softball tournament, we have various activities planned for the whole family - including a live auction. We will also have a BBQ and refreshment stand to keep everyone’s hunger satisfied and thirst quenched.
All this fundraising is made possible thanks to generous people who donate the various items to our worthy cause.
We are therefore asking for your help in our fundraising efforts. There are a number of different ways in which you can help make this year’s DDO Softball Tournament the success it should be.
